Assessments and Psychological Evaluations

TFH employs a group of specialized mental health professionals to assess clients referred by public agencies and private defense counsel, suspect of having a substance abuse problem, to assess and treat disorders usually first diagnosed in infancy, childhood, or adolescence. Our staff will follow a multiaxial system involving an assessment on several axes, each of which refers to a different domain of information that may help our staff plan treatment and predict outcome. The multiaxial system promotes the application of the biopsychosocial model in clinical, educational, and research settings.
